2. Why did a leather model appear, not just canvas?

The main reason Tenuis branched out into leather models is to achieve "the ultimate thinness and a sophisticated aesthetic." While thinness and functionality are possible with the canvas version – SOLAHANPU's canvas wallets have a firm shape, not the common "soft and bulky" feel of fabric, but a crisp one – we also wanted to pursue an even more refined look and feel with leather. The canvas version offers a certain degree of formality but is also suitable for casual and outdoor settings.

Thin, despite being a leather wallet: Applying the Tenuis design philosophy (thin and strong) to leather. While thin leather that maintains strength undoubtedly contributes to its slimness, it's the "structure that maintains thinness even when filled" that allows us to achieve a thinness difficult to realize with ordinary leather wallets.

The joy of nurturing: Made with leather from a long-established Italian tannery, you can enjoy the aging process as it deepens with use. You can also savor various textures with different leather types.

3. Which Tenuis is right for you?

Case A: You want to use it for both casual and business, seeking high quality.

→ Recommended: Tenuis Leather Version (Cowhide + Goat Leather)

It won't ruin the silhouette even when placed in a suit jacket pocket. It offers the surprisingly thin profile, even when filled, despite the substantial feel of Italian leather.

Case B: You want to experience the minimalist origin, regardless of the occasion.

→ Recommended: Tenuis Canvas Version (Waxed Canvas + Goat Leather)

Its appeal lies in the lightness unique to canvas and the "tool-like" feel that becomes familiar with use. Ideal for those who want a more casual wallet for robust use in street or outdoor settings.

Case C: You want a slim wallet that lets you fully enjoy the charm of leather.

→ Recommended: Tenuis Full Cowhide Version

Finished entirely with Italian oil leather. While it uses slightly thicker leather than the cowhide + goat leather version, the unique texture of the leather is fully evident, making it a satisfying model for leather enthusiasts.

Differences between Tenuis 1st Generation, 2nd Generation, current Zipper Type, and Flap Type

The Tenuis 1st and 2nd Generations were the origin and foundation of the Tenuis development at the time, paving the way for the current Tenuis. (They are no longer in production.) Both the Zipper Type and Flap Type are current models; the former features a coin pocket with a zipper, while the latter, without a zipper, has independent upper and lower pockets.

4. Advice from the Developers

The number of "slim wallets" has increased significantly in recent years. However, only Tenuis's design prowess, which has challenged the limits of structural design for many years, can solve the paradox of being "slim yet easy to use."

A mechanism that disperses the overlap of cards and coins, and a wallet whose thinness defies the conventional wisdom of leather. The Tenuis series, which condenses all of these features, is what we confidently recommend today.
