Goat leather × cowhide (canvas). The reason the 6mm-thin Tenuis wallet deliberately combines "different materials".

"Thin wallets seem like they'll fall apart quickly." We often hear that concern. However, the Tenuis, despite its slim profile, makes absolutely no compromises on strength.

Tannin-tanned, durable Italian leather is used
for the wallet's exterior—essentially the wallet's face. Tannin tanning results in high fiber density and a higher oil content, creating a beautiful leather that combines smoothness and suppleness."Waxed Canvas" Inspired

by
Yacht Sails The canvas, the very origin of Sora Canvas. For the Tenuis canvas version, we use ultra-thin canvas treated with paraffin wax.Natural cotton canvas is inherently durable. The wax coating further tightens the fibers, creating a material resistant to friction. This forms another distinct character for the wallet, alongside the leather.

Tear-resistant "Goat Leather"
The interior uses goat leather, which has a higher fiber density than cowhide and maintains strength even when thinned. The twin card slots are engineered to maximize the leather's toughness, stretch, and elasticity, expanding only as much as needed with each added card. Despite being just 0.5mm thick, this material boasts such resilience that even an adult trying hard cannot tear it (unless pulling from an existing tear).

A craftsman's challenge to achieve "
thinness"
Rather than simply layering material, we deliberately employ multiple layers of high-density stitching from the inside to eliminate waste in the gusset area. We make adjustments down to fractions of a millimeter to ensure usability and functionality remain unaffected. This meticulous calculation creates a "tough slim wallet" built to be cherished for years.
