When choosing a mini wallet, compact wallet, or wallet designed for minimalists, many people are likely concerned about the card compartment design. Especially for those switching from long wallets or standard bifold wallets to cashless options, some may worry whether a slim design—like a money clip or coin purse—can actually hold a certain number of cards.

The Tenuis Flap Type (formerly the 4th-generation Tenuis) also features a minimalist design focused on millimeter-level thinness, but since it looks quite flat when brand new, you might wonder, “Can it really hold a few cards?”
The Tenuis features twin card slots, each designed to hold four cards. If we had designed it to hold eight cards in a single slot, it would feel quite loose when empty, and if you only put a few cards in, it might seem too loose and like the cards might fall out.
Although this mechanism, crafted from goatskin, may look thin, it is designed to hold 4 to 5 cards in each pocket. Furthermore, once you’ve inserted a certain number of cards, the elasticity of the goatskin automatically adjusts the capacity to fit the number of cards.Even when you insert 4 or 5 cards into one side (though 4 is recommended), the leather will naturally stretch after a few days, creating a space that fits the cards perfectly.
The design prioritizes durability to safely hold your cards over the long term, rather than just immediately after purchase.
