In 2021, the YouTube channel "Mikasa Channel" featured our third-generation leather version of the Tenuis compact wallet. This coincided with our crowdfunding campaign, providing many people looking for minimalist or compact wallets with an opportunity to examine the product’s details.
The video captures the texture of the Italian leather known as “Toscano.” In particular, it objectively demonstrated how the wallet maintains a slim profile even when filled with cards and coins, showing how this feature functions in real-life scenarios.
In Mikas’ review, they touched on not only the wallet’s functionality as a mini wallet but also the texture of the materials. They highlighted how the product maintains a balance by avoiding the simplicity often found in minimalist wallets and instead making luxurious use of Italian leather.
Through this presentation, the product was introduced to an audience interested in both functionality and design. This is an example of how the design intent and the rationale behind material selection were shared through the medium of video.
