Looking back at the 2019 crowdfunding campaign
Speaking of the canvas version of Tenuis, it brings back memories of the crowdfunding campaign we conducted in 2019. At that time, we were grateful to receive warm support from over 4,000 people.
Looking back at the final statistics from that time, the most popular was the standard "Shikkoku" (jet black), with "Seiran" (indigo blue) and "Enhai" (lead gray) being almost equally popular.
For the current sale, we have only introduced a small initial quantity, so we cannot yet provide specific statistics on "which color is the most popular."
However, all of these color lineups use canvas in calm tones, and the wax treatment (paraffin processing) applied to the fabric slightly deepens the colors. Perhaps because of this, including the texture of the actual product when it arrives, we feel that all colors are "selling well in a good balance."
Some people might worry that a thin wallet might quickly bulge when cards or coins are inserted, or that it might be inconvenient due to difficulty storing receipts or invoices received as change.
