The "tenuis-tl">Tenuis TL" is an ultra-thin wallet achieving just 6mm thickness when empty. But it's not just thin; it maintains its slim profile even when filled with cards and coins.

Thin-profile wallets have become common in recent years. However, a common issue with thin wallets is that "while the wallet itself is thin, it becomes thick when you actually put bills, coins, and cards inside." While the wallet's inherent thinness is important, we believe "maintaining thinness even when filled" is equally crucial.

The TenuisTL" we introduce here incorporates numerous innovations to maintain thinness not only in the material itself but also during actual use.

Industry-leading thinness: 0.8mm surface leather

Using thin materials is crucial when crafting an extremely thin wallet.
tenuis -tl">For the surface leather of TenuisTL," we selected Toscano Liscio, a cowhide leather from the Italian workshop Conceria Ottocento. Through a skiving process (shaving thick leather to thinness), it achieves an industry-leading thinness of 0.8mm while maintaining strength.

Beyond its thinness, we pursued the inherent charm of the leather itself.The leather is processed using the traditional Italian "Bacchetta Oil" method. This technique involves slowly impregnating the leather with vegetable tannins over time, resulting in an exceptionally soft and supple material. It offers a soft, comfortable feel that molds to your hand. This "Bacchetta Leather" is deeply saturated with oil, allowing you to enjoy how its color and luster deepen and develop character over time through aging.

tenuis -tl">The interior of TenuisTL" features 0.5mm goat leather. While goat leather may be unfamiliar in Japan, it's a material that combines lightness, durability, thinness, and elasticity. It's also known for its fine, beautiful wrinkles, called "shibo" patterns.

The industry's first "Twin Card Pocket," designed with meticulous attention to eliminating waste.

By placing the card pockets in parallel, thickness is distributed evenly, making cards easier to see and slide in and out smoothly. The size of two cards is nearly identical to the wallet's overall dimensions, eliminating any wasted space.

The recommended capacity is four cards per pocket, totaling eight cards—sufficient storage for an everyday wallet. As it's made of leather, it may feel tight initially with just three cards inside. However, after a few days of use, the elastic leather will mold to your cards, allowing for smooth insertion and removal.

Additionally, the twin card pockets distribute the wallet's overall thickness, preventing bulges even with many cards inside. This distribution keeps it slim while minimizing surface area. A key feature is maintaining a sleek appearance even after years of use.

Coin Divider to Prevent Skewing

Even with a slim wallet, the coin pocket tends to bulge over time. The coin pocket of TenuisTL" features a "divider." This prevents coins from bunching in one spot when carried, distributing the thickness evenly.

The zipper also uses a "slim zipper" with minimal protrusion. This ensures ease of use without sacrificing thinness.

The evolved "Hidden Pocket 2.0" stores even more cards and keys

Since the release of the previous model, "Tenuis3," we've been incredibly grateful to receive extensive feedback from our users. Among the most common requests were carrying more cards and storing valuables other than cash together with the wallet. In response, we significantly enhanced the functionality of the internal pocket, previously introduced as the "Hidden Pocket."

We added one new card-holding pocket, enabling a total of two pockets to hold two cards combined. This, combined with the capacity of the twin card pockets mentioned earlier (8 cards), allows for a total of 10 cards to be stored.

Furthermore, this upgraded "hidden pocket" features four key pockets—two of each type—capable of holding most standard keys. This allows you to discreetly store spare keys for emergencies within the wallet.
