A compact passport -sized wallet!

Volare Bulgaro is a comprehensive passport-sized wallet that has never existed before. Ordinary passport cases and wallets only have a case and a small accessory compartment, and are often too large or thick to be considered a compact travel wallet . This wallet neatly resolves the contradictions that have been difficult to reconcile until now , by being able to hold a passport, while also providing comprehensive travel wallet functionality , and being compact enough to fit in a pocket.

Commitment to genuine leather materials

This time, for the first time in SOLAHANPU history , we have developed a material that allows you to fully enjoy the texture of genuine leather, using only one type of leather for the entire bag. Until now , the mainstream combination has been 0.5mm goat leather on the inside and 0.8mm leather or canvas on the outside , but Volare Bulgaro The inside is 0.8mm thick and the outside is 1.5mm thick , both made from Bulgaro leather from Lo Sti Vale , which is vegetable tanned using the Italian 'Vacchetta' oil method . Although it is a bit stiff, the surface is smooth and delicate , achieving the perfect balance that allows you to enjoy the charm of the leather while maintaining its thinness .

Compared to previous material combinations, the thickness of the "material itself" has increased, but the structure itself is thin , so you can still enjoy the benefits of a SOLAHANPU thin wallet. The edges, which are unique to leather with a certain thickness, are beautifully finished, giving it an even more handmade feel . It is a hard material at first, but as you use it, it will become softer and more lustrous, making it a material you can use for a long time. Volare Bulgaro 's　Volare is an Italian word meaning " to fly," which is related to travel .

The impetus for development

When I was young, even during my first overseas trip, I was very conscious of how to manage my valuables. I had the idea that if I kept my passport, money, and cards in a wallet and attached a wallet chain, I would be safe from loss or theft , but I couldn't find a wallet that was just right to fit all my valuables in my pockets. At the time, I bought a nylon wallet that was as close as possible to what I wanted, but I still felt that it was far from ideal in terms of material and structure, and there was room for improvement. Based on that experience, this wallet is designed to fit my passport, separate my banknotes, coins, and notes from various countries, hold a pen, and have a chain attached.

In fact , at the time, I often heard stories of travelers I met abroad who had lost or had their passports stolen. The first thing I thought they had in common was that they kept their passports in a bag, backpack, pouch, shoulder bag, etc., and that they had either left it away from their body even for a moment and it had gone somewhere, or they had it on their person but it had been stolen in some way.

While it's not necessarily the best idea, at SOLA we believe that keeping your passport, money, etc. in your wallet and attaching it to your front trouser pocket with a chain or similar will allow you to always know where your valuables are, and will also increase your overall safety. Even though electronic payments have developed, there are still times when you might need to use cash overseas, as your usual payment methods may not be available . Therefore, we developed a comprehensive wallet that still retains the basic functionality of a wallet . This wallet was created with the philosophy closest to the origins of SOLAHANPU , which was born from the experiences of traveling abroad.

There are actually very few "compact wallets" that fit a passport perfectly. With Volare Bulgaro , you no longer have to worry about where to store your passport. The storage compartment is designed to accommodate both 10- year and 5- year passports , ensuring secure storage without dropping, while still allowing for quick and easy access when needed. You can also fit a notebook or other items smaller than a passport.

Twin card slots for even thickness distribution

The twin card slots separate your cards into two sections , allowing you to distribute the thickness evenly . It has ample storage capacity for 10 cards (5 cards x 2 sections ) , allowing you to separate cards for everyday use and cards for overseas travel , etc.

This structure is inherited from SOLAHANPU 's classic Tenuis series and is an important element in the wallet's slim design . By placing transportation cards and other items at the bottom of the slot (closest to the front of the wallet), you can easily pass through ticket gates and other places. Conversely, if you want to protect your important cards from skimming, you can use a commercially available RFID-protected card in the card slot.

The two- tiered twin coin pocket allows you to manage coins from various countries.

The coin pockets, separated into upper and lower sections, distribute the thickness and allow you to separate different currencies at the same time . Each pocket also has a divider, allowing you to separate coins from the top and bottom. If you don't need coins, you can store keys or other items there. By deliberately not using a zipper, the wallet is slim and prevents the zipper slider from leaving marks on the other side when you fold the wallet. It closes securely enough that you don't have to worry about it opening by itself, yet it's incredibly easy to open and close.

Two types of bills can be stored separately

This bill compartment can hold bills just like a traditional wallet , but there's a little twist to it .

In addition to putting bills all the way to the bottom (Japanese yen bills in the photo), you can also hook bills (Euro bills in the photo) onto the left and right tabs in the middle of the bill compartment , which means you can divide bills into two layers to spread out the thickness, and separate bills from different countries or different denominations .

You can also put in an airline ticket that you will need to temporarily hold at the airport ( folded along the dotted lines ) .

Equipped with a pen holder for notebooks

Simply take it out (as shown in the photo) , insert a pen, and hang it up.
