[Announcement] Making Our Global Site More User-Friendly: Optimizing Supported Languages and Future Updates

Thank you very much for your continued support of SOLAHANPU. While we usually share information about slim, compact wallets and minimalist wallets, this time we’d like to discuss our website.

Today, we’d like to share an announcement and some details regarding our “language settings optimization,” which is designed to provide visitors from around the world with a more seamless experience and consistently up-to-date information.

Consolidation to 5 Languages and Increased Update Frequency

Until now, SOLAHANPU has operated its website in multiple languages to introduce our products to as many people as possible around the world. However, as the scope of our operations expanded, we struggled to keep up with translating the latest product information and blog posts, resulting in significant delays in updates for each language.

Reflecting on our failure to deliver the latest information to our audience in a timely manner, we have decided to concentrate our resources on the following “5 languages,” which receive the highest traffic to our site, and to further improve the quality of our content in each language.

Japanese

, English, German, Chinese (Traditional),
Chinese (Simplified)

By narrowing down the languages we support, we will be able to update all language pages consistently and frequently, almost simultaneously with updates to the Japanese version. This should allow visitors in each language to enjoy a more seamless, natural, and engaging browsing experience.

Respect for German Cultural Context and Design Philosophy

Beyond English, the common language, there is a deep connection between our products and the cultural context of “German,” a language that has endured in Europe.

Within Europe, and particularly in Germany, there is a steady number of customers who purchase our slim, compact wallets. Through extensive research, we learned about a unique cultural context in Germany where cash (banknotes and coins) is still widely used in everyday life. While cashless payments are becoming more widespread, one of our motivations was to properly convey the value of our products in the appropriate language to local customers who have a genuine need to “carry cash smartly.”

Furthermore, SOLAHANPU’s product design has always been strongly influenced by German design philosophy—specifically, functional beauty and rationality.

“Minimalist yet thoroughly functional. Sophisticated appearance, structure, precision, and usability.”

We feel that German product design is packed with wonderful elements worth emulating in the approach to craftsmanship that we constantly strive for. With this sense of respect in mind, we will strive to communicate more thoughtfully moving forward.

We hope you’ll continue to support the SOLAHANPU global website as it is reborn in a more refined form. Please look forward to the latest updates!
