A comparison of the characteristics of Italian leathers: Toscano, Bulgaro, and Elbamatt.

The leather version of the Tenuis series uses exquisite Italian leather crafted by a prestigious tannery known for its vacchetta tanning method.

"Erbamatt," which is rich in oil, has a texture closer to candle or crayon than smooth. It has a subtle sheen.

"Toscano" is smooth and soft. It's more on the matte side, but not as matte as the ErbaMat mentioned above; it retains a slight sheen and firmness.

In contrast, "Bulgaro" has a slightly more glossy finish. However, it's not an exaggerated shine; it's relatively glossy compared to the other two types. The leather itself has a soft feel, but the surface has firmness and strength.

SOLAHANPU currently only carries 3 or 4 types of Italian leather, but we plan to increase the variety in the future. Currently, the 3rd generation Tenuis uses the three types mentioned above. Even though they are the same wallet, the surface textures vary considerably.
