The era of integrated driver's licenses and My Number cards has arrived—wallet thickness is now nothing but a liability.

Regarding the integration of the My Number Card and driver's license, I think the old paper insurance card was perfectly adequate until recently. But if you absolutely must carry both the My Number Card and driver's license, integrating them does offer benefits from a minimalist perspective. Back in the day, insurance cards were about the size of a postcard, so compared to that era, things have become considerably more minimal.

I wish passports could be smaller too.

While the integration of driver's licenses and insurance cards is a hot topic lately, I ultimately think "passports should also become smaller and more efficient." Of course, this involves international agreements on a global scale, so I don't expect it to change easily or quickly. Still, it's interesting to ponder from a design perspective.

With fewer IDs, only a few remain

If all your IDs were consolidated, wouldn't choosing which essential cards to carry in your wallet become even simpler? Even if you select multiple cards like a cash card, credit card, and others, the Tenuis or Tynd can easily hold them all. Any missing payment methods can be covered by your smartphone, further reducing what you need to carry.

The "lightness" beyond efficiency

Reducing possessions and simplifying management. By freeing your mind from unnecessary items, you can focus your time on what truly matters. We see our design as the physical approach to achieving that "efficiency."
